How much does it cost to own a RV? Good question.

You have the normal costs of operating a motor vehicle, the thing is this is a Truck or a Bus.

So the operating costs are going to be higher. Fuel will cost more if it is a diesel, the tires will cost more than your family car tires and on most there will be more of them. You also have consumables such as butane/propane and water, you may have to pay for dumping your waste tank in some places.

General up keep if you hire it out will cost you, if you do your own maintenance where you have the expertise will save you quite a bit of cash.

Then there is the insurance, that may be more expensive.
