Towing With A RV

When you head out on your vacation do you plan on parking the RV in a campsite and leave it hooked up?

Or disconnect the hookups every time you want to go somewhere that is a couple miles or further away?

Maybe you are a bicycler and have mountain bikes, or maybe you want to have a vehicle that you will be towing with the RV.

If you are towing a vehicle will it be on a two wheel dolly that lifts the front wheels off the ground or just a tow bar connected to the front of the vehicle? If it is a four wheel drive vehicle what do you have to do to it before you tow it?
